DWU Core Commitments
Dakota Wesleyan University has responded to the current public health crisis quickly, methodically and deliberately. Our decisions have been, and will continue to be, guided by the most current and accurate data and guidance provided by state and federal authorities and our nation's leading health experts. We also recognize the need to be vigilant, as this guidance and information continues to change and evolve, often on a day-to-day basis.
Our planning is guided by four core commitments:
- DWU is committed to delivering a high-quality educational experience to our current and future students, regardless of the delivery method.
- DWU is committed to making prudent modifications to the university’s living and learning environments in an effort to limit the potential spread of COVID-19.
- DWU is committed to responding to an outbreak of COVID-19 in a caring and responsible way by following the policies and procedures that have been developed to guide the care of those who might be infected and to limit the potential spread of the virus to others.
- DWU is committed to communicating with all university constituencies regularly, clearly, and transparently regarding all COVID-19 issues related to the university.
